The session is happy to announce Fran Buit as our new Administrative Assistant. Her responsibilities include administrative support for pastors and staff, coordination of volunteer positions, prayer requests, and coordination of pastoral visits. Fran was born and raised in Grand Rapids, Michigan.  She studied sociology at Calvin College and business administration at Davenport College. In 1978, she married Bruce and 4 days after the wedding they moved to South Florida where Bruce had a teaching position at Westminster Academy. They have three children, Bobby (married and living in Orlando, Florida), Allison (married and living in D.C.), and Katie (a UCF student).

Fran was raised in the Christian Reformed Church and was a member of Coral Ridge Presbyterian Church for 30 years, where she was active in both the Women’s and Children’s Ministries. Prior to her current position, in addition to being a full time mom, she was employed for 31 years as an insurance agent/office manager at a local insurance agency. She has been actively involved in a variety of volunteer positions since the inception of New Presbyterian Church.
